I like them. I think the white feather is a little hard to photograph without blowing it out - maybe you have another soft ocean theme item you can use instead. The orange composition looks good - it is well lit.
Photographing my pieces in an interesting manner is something I am working on as well, and boy is it difficult! Looks like you're doing well so far though!
Cat: "balance:" yes, there's something a little sen-like with arranging these little fellows. merci :)
Belinda: thanks so much! :) yes, photographing jewelry is tricky. wanting to capture the realistic shape, size, color... and at the same time desiring to create a mood or feeling through the image.
I'm a jewelry artist and therapist. Freshly married to my wonderful husband and new to Colorado. You'll find me in my studio or hiking the mountainside. Thanks for visiting :)

Thanks, Valerie! :)
Yes, it's always hard to think of interesting ways to photograph jewelry without pulling too much attention away from the piece(s).
Here's to trying new things !

I like them! The orange one has a lovely balance, and will stick out nicely in, say, a treasury on etsy.
well done!
I think they are both wonderful, Lynsey! I love the soft lighting, the composition of elements... really beautiful :-)
Photographing my jewellery is something I am learning about every single day. Constantly re-shooting, tweaking, finding new props...
Having a new camera (a surprise from hubby) has only made the task ever so slightly easier :-)
Have a fab weekend!
